14-day consumer withdrawal

If you are a consumer, send a clear statement of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods. Use the template below or your own unambiguous email or letter. No reason is needed. Sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient. For separate deliveries of one order, the period starts when the last item is received.

Returning goods and refunds

Return goods to the company address within 14 days of notifying withdrawal. You bear direct return costs; for goods that cannot be returned by ordinary post, we state the return cost before contracting. We refund payments, including the least expensive standard delivery, within 14 days of notice, normally using the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of dispatch. You are only liable for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and function.

Statutory exceptions

Withdrawal does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s precise specifications and personalised needs. It may also be excluded for sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons when unsealed after delivery. Simply labelling goods “made to order” or “hygiene product” does not exclude the right. We inform you of any applicable exception before contracting.

Product non-conformity

Notify us within two months of discovering non-conformity, describe it clearly and allow inspection. The seller is liable for non-conformity appearing within two years of delivery. You may normally first request free repair or replacement under statutory conditions; conformity must be restored within 30 days, exceptionally extended by up to 15 days with prior notice. In statutory cases you may request a price reduction or termination. If non-conformity appears within less than 30 days of delivery, the consumer may request termination and repayment.

Warranty and business buyers

Where a product has a mandatory or voluntary warranty, you receive its terms and certificate on delivery. A warranty does not exclude non-conformity claims. The statutory 14-day withdrawal right is for consumers; business returns follow the contract and applicable law.
